Business Wire, Feb 4, 2000

Billboard Talent Net (http://www.billboardtalentnet.com), the first professionally-oriented Internet showcase for new and developing artists in every genre, and “The Jenny Jones Show” a premiere force in bringing music to daytime television, have joined forces to offer unsigned musical artists the opportunity to receive national television exposure.

Premiering February 15, “Jenny Jones” will highlight top acts from the Billboard Talent Net Top 10 and Radio BTN Top 50 rankings once a month. In addition to the opportunity for these unsigned acts to be seen by Jenny’s millions of viewers, performance clips and background information on the bands will be posted on the &uotJenny Jones&uot Web site (www.jennyjones.com), which has received upwards of 6.5 million page views a month.

The Billboard Talent Net Top 10 and Radio BTN Top 50 are the first online new talent hit lists to provide an accurate reflection of what an international online audience considers to be the most popular and talented unsigned artists around today. Results are published every Friday on the BTN Web site and appear bi-weekly in the “Artists &Music” section of Billboard Magazine and other regional trade publications, such as Musikwoche in Germany. Votes are cast by BTN’s registered international online audience.
