Embark on a fantastical quest with 12-year-old Chelsea Tickerman to slay a dragon and save her dying mother. Along the way, encounters with scientists, seagulls, interstellar gondoliers, and finally the clock-smith at the center of the universe bring a new understanding of life, death, and the nature of time. With its innovative, anime-inspired voice, this whimsical and touching tale of a child coming to terms with the loss of a parent will both move and delight.
