Performed on 6/28/15 at Judson Memorial with Michelle Y. Thompson (guitar/vocals) with Henry Lee on piano. Below is video from the show. Audio is from the camera mic so it’s not that great (sorry). I was playing a cajon (sitting on it), with a travel conga, kick drum, hi-hat and traps.

Fickle Love & Vulnerability– Michelle Y. Thompson w/ Henry Le…| F I C K L E | L O V E + | V U L N E R A B I L I T Y Original songs performed at “Maricia Danielle & Michelle Thompson: Live at Judson” (06.28.2015)…Got a little choked up on “Fickle Love”…’twas unexpected, but sometimes you just gotta put yourself out there and share your heart with folks. I wrote this song, recalling my 19 year old self; maturing and unsure–and for a moment I was transfixed there (the power of music!). I told a friend I wouldn’t post it, but why share music if I’m not willing to truly be vulnerable before folks..so here it is! AND to boot, Henry and Alexander played so beautifully! 🙂 “Vulnerability,” is liken a lil’ mantra . I think we all need reminders that it’s okay to be vulnerable and let the walls down a bit. I know I need them constantly! Big ups to Henry for not letting me sing the song in the wrong key! LMBO…the importance of working with intelligent musicians…HA!
